TORONTO, July 16 /CNW/ - The Much MTV Group announced today that the
unabashed, unpredictable MTV2 hits Canadian TV airwaves on Friday, August 1 at
1 p.m. ET. Taking a bite out of the minds of 12-24 viewers, MTV2 launches with
a new original music video show and offers programming that delivers wild
stunts and pranks, extreme sports, live concerts, comedy, music videos,
animation, and much, much more.

CTV is rebranding Razer, which is currently available in nearly
one million homes. The station's teaser website - mtv2.ca - features a
