TECHNOLOGICAL TALENT: A FINITE RE
MONTREAL, Dec. 3 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to
attend the business luncheon of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal on
Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at Le Centre Sheraton Hotel, at noon. Stéphane
Boisvert, president, Enterprise Group, Bell Canada, will be our guest speaker.
Mr. Boisvert will talk about the importance of information technology for
businesses and its contribution to the Canadian economy, the means to secure
and develop our technological knowledge and an original approach aimed at
getting young people more interested in IT careers.
The business luncheon will be followed by a press conference during which
Mr. Boisvert will launch a coalition of Canadian companies established to
prepare the next generation of IT workers. He will be accompanied by Michael
Bloom, Vice-President, Organizational Effectiveness and Learning, Conference
Board of Canada, who will present the preliminary results of a study about the
IT Talent Gap.
