Ten top Montreal chefs join forces to help street kids
MONTREAL, Sept. 24 /CNW Telbec/ - Ten of Montreal's top chefs are joining
forces to help street kids with From the Streets to the Stars, a benefit for
Dans la rue. Inspired by the famous hotdogs handed out every evening by Dans
la rue's motorhome, chefs from Bice, Bronte, Chez L'Epicier, Ferreira, Garçon,
Garde-Manger, Holder, Jolifou, Pinxto and Vallier will be serving up their own
spin on street food.
Father Emmett "Pops" Johns, founder of Dans la rue, invites journalists
to attend this gourmet benefit evening that will take place on September 26 at
6 p.m., at the Société des Arts technologiques (SAT), 1195 St. Laurent Blvd.
Some of the chefs will be available for interviews before and during the

Founded in 1988, Dans la rue is a community organization that works with
Montreal street kids at risk. Through its many services, young people can find
refuge and thrive in an environment of respect, friendship and dedication.
