    One team to represent Canada at the international finals of the 2008
    Danone Nations Cup in Paris, France

    TORONTO, July 17 /CNW/ - Twenty-eight young athletes have been selected
from over 5,200 young people to represent Eastern and Western Canada at the
national finals of the Danone Nations Cup in Toronto on July 19th. Both teams
will be going head-to-head to fight for a chance to represent Canada at the
9th edition of the international finals in Paris, France.
    Taking place from September 5-7, the Danone Nations Cup is a thrilling
conclusion to an immense international event counting close to 3 million young
soccer players aged 11-12, and is the last component of the large-scale
philanthropic activity. Since its creation 8 years ago, the Danone Nations Cup
has become the most prominent event in international youth soccer, attracting
players from some 40 different countries.

    
    TRAINING CAMP:

        What:       The media is invited to attend the team practice, meet
                    the young athletes and take photos with the players and
                    trainers

        Who:        28 members of the Eastern and Western teams

        Why:        15 young Canadians are preparing to fulfill their soccer
                    dream and represent their country at an international
                    event!

        Date:       July 17th 1:00 - 3:00 pm

        Location:   Toronto, BMO Stadium, (170 Princes Blvd
                    Toronto, On, M6K3C3)

    THE GAME:       July 19th at 6:00 pm at the BMO Stadium: The National
                    Finals between Eastern and Western teams to determine
                    which of the two teams will represent Canada at the
                    international finals in Paris.
