/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory: Photo/Interview Opportunity - Canadian Cancer Society Launches the Yellow-United Movement on April 1st/

    MONTREAL, March 31 /CNW Telbec/ -

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Starting April 1st, Quebecers will only have one colour on their minds:
                                     yellow!

By proudly wearing this hot Spring colour, people will be showing
good taste and heart: they will join the Yellow-United movement,
the fight for life movement initiated by the Canadian Cancer Society.

WHAT: Launch of Yellow-United, a unique campaign by the Canadian
             Cancer Society.

WHERE: Berri-UQAM Metro (St-Denis Street entrance)

    WHEN: Wednesday, April 1st, 2009, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

    HOW:
    - Live musical performance at 10:30 a.m. by Montreal singer-songwriter
Baptiste, who will perform La remontée, a song he wrote specifically
      for the Yellow-United movement.
    - Interview with campaign spokesperson, Philippe Charbonneau, the actor
who plays Maxime in Annie et ses hommes on TVA.
    - Distribution of material by the Yellow-United team squad.

To enrich the Yellow-United offensive, which opens Cancer Awareness Month
and the return of the Daffodil Days, bright yellow will also be seen from
April 2nd to 5th. Over two million fresh, bright yellow daffodils will be
offered by 14,500 volunteers in some 2,600 points of sale across Quebec.

Why yellow? Because it's the colour of the daffodil, the CCS's official
emblem and, more importantly, because it symbolizes hope and renewal. Why
united? To underscore that together, we can change things and show that
    we are "for life".
