    MONTREAL, June 18 /CNW Telbec/ - The Mayor of Montreal, Gérald Tremblay,
is pleased to welcome Michael Phelps to city hall for a photo-op and to sign
the Ville de Montréal's Guestbook. At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing
Michael Phelps became a sports legend by winning eight gold medals and setting
seven world records. He holds the record for the number of titles won at the
same Olympic games.
    Michael Phelps has won a total of 14 gold medals, the most by any
Olympian.
