    WENDAKE, QC, Oct. 21 /CNW Telbec/ - The Chief of the Assembly of the
First Nations of Quebec and Labrador, Ghislain Picard, accompanied by a dozen
of Chiefs, will react to the project of renewal of the forest regime, as well
as to the Plan Nord. The Chiefs of the First Nations will comment on the
policy of negation of their rights on the territory, by the government of
Quebec. They will state their vision of development of natural resources of
the Quebec territory, at a press briefing which will precede their
presentation before the Parliamentary Commission on the renewal of the forest
