    Family Emergency and Illness Force Governors to Stay Home

    TORONTO, March 16 /CNW/ - The European Union Chamber of Commerce in
Toronto (EUCOCIT) regrets to announce the cancellation of "Economic Outlook
2008 - The Global Economy: Perspectives from Europe" with Mr. Christian Noyer,
Governor, Banque de France and Professor Axel Weber, President, Deutsche
Bundesbank scheduled for 12 Noon on Monday, March 17 at the Toronto Board of
Trade.
    A family emergency forced President Weber to cancel his visit late
Friday. Governor Noyer became ill last night and was unable to travel today.
    Schedules permitting, EUCOCIT will announce details about a new date for
the event in a few days or provide information about refunds for ticket
buyers.
