FCM President Jean Perrault to speak at a meeting of Provincial and
OTTAWA, Oct. 7 /CNW Telbec/ - The Federation of Canadian Municipalities
(FCM) will meet with provincial and territorial ministers responsible for
housing and national housing stakeholders in Ottawa on October 8 - building on
the recent funding renewal of federal housing programs and to address the need
for long-term federal investment in affordable housing.
FCM President Jean Perrault, Mayor of Sherbrooke, Que., will identify
eight principles to guide intergovernmental efforts to address the challenges
of affordable housing and chronic homelessness across the country.
