MONTREAL, Oct. 15 /CNW Telbec/ - A roadmap for the Plastics Industry:
that's the theme for this year's Expoplast, a must-see trade fair for anyone
interested in the plastics and composites industry in Quebec.
The ninth edition of Expoplast will focus on major accomplishments in the
Quebec plastics industry. On October 20, companies with outstanding
achievements in 2008 will be honoured by the Canadian Plastics Industry
Association (CPIA) at the eleventh edition of the Galea Awards. Unique
products created by ingenious Quebec designers will be featured in the
showcase of innovation and excellence, located at the main entrance to Palais
des Congrès, Montreal's convention centre.
There will be a special place at Expoplast for the Quebec composites
sector. Many key players and specialty companies will be on hand at the
Composites Pavilion to answer all your questions.
The knowledge and the human and technical resources essential for
competing in this industry will form the core of Expoplast 08. ACIP will
unveil the "roadmap" for the Canadian plastics industry, an in-depth analysis
of business opportunities and challenges facing the industry. It will be
available at the CPIA's Solutions Centre. Visitors will be able to expand
their knowledge by speaking with experts who will be on hand for technical
conferences presented by the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) or the
Industry members from Quebec and across Canada will also be able to
expand their business network by attending networking sessions by Plastics
APAC and Composites APAC.
