    QUEBEC CITY, June 27 /CNW Telbec/ - 400 new Canadian citizens will take
the oath of citizenship for the 400 anniversary of the founding of Québec City
on Canada Day, July 1st 2008

    Join the festivities underlining Canada Day and the 400th anniversary of
the founding of Québec City on July 1st: For the occasion, 400 immigrants from
all continents will take the oath of citizenship and become Canadian citizens.

    GUESTS: His Honour the Honourable Pierre Duchesne, Lieutenant Governor of
    Québec.

    The Honourable Josée Verner, Minister of Canadian Heritage, Status of
    Women and Official Languages and Minister for La Francophonie

    PRESIDING OFFICER: Michel Simard, Senior Citizenship Judge of the
    Citizenship Commission
