    Third annual Princess Tea Party to support Children's Wish

    TORONTO, May 7 /CNW/ -

    
    WHAT:     In celebration of Mother's Day, Children's Wish is hosting its
              third annual Princess Tea Party. Proceeds from this event will
              go towards granting wishes for Princesses who will be attending
              the celebration. Sponsored by Lawtons Drugs, the event will
              feature sing-a-longs, skits, dancing, storytelling, and more.

    WHO:      More than 400 princesses and their moms (over 800 guests)

              1:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

    BACKGROUND:

    Established in 1984, The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada is a
national non-profit organization dedicated to fulfilling a favorite wish for
children diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. Since its inception,
Children's Wish has granted almost 15,000 wishes for children and their
families and fulfills approximately 950 wishes annually -- each being an
individual adventure, carefully structured to meet the needs of that
