XanGo Wishmaker Parade takes place in more than 100 communities across
the country on October 18th and 19th

WHAT: The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada's 4th annual, national
XanGo Wishmaker Parade is happening in more than 100 communities
across Canada on October 18 and 19, 2008.
The event is a national parade style walk. Each year families,
individuals, corporate and community groups raise funds, collected
by pledges, to grant wishes for children and families affected by
life threatening illnesses. Last year, participants of the event
raised $1.3 million, granting wishes for many children across
Canada. The 2008 XanGo Wishmaker Parade is sponsored by global
nutrition leader XanGo, maker of the original premium whole
mangosteen beverage XanGo(TM) Juice.
WHEN: Saturday October 18 and Sunday October 19, 2008

WHO: Families, friends, colleagues, neighbours and volunteers who have
been impacted by Children's Wish, as well as dedicated volunteers
and sponsors of the Parade.
Established in 1984, The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada is a
national non-profit organization dedicated to fulfilling a favorite wish for
children diagnosed life-threatening illnesses. Since its inception, Children's
Wish has granted more than 14,000 wishes for children and their families and
fulfills approximately 900 wishes annually -- each being an individual
adventure, carefully structured to meet the needs of that particular child.
