PwC Canada Announces Winners of 2016 Vision to Reality Awards

Three award recipients recognized for innovation and leadership

TORONTO, April 15, 2016 /CNW/ - PwC Canada congratulates the winners of the Vision to Reality Awards which recognize Canadian companies for their leadership in innovation. The awards, which took place at the Arcadian Loft in Toronto, celebrate the creativity of Canadian companies who have led the charge in disrupting and reshaping their industry and are propelling it forward through innovation.

The Vision to Reality awards gala recognized three companies as Innovators of the Year in three categories including The disruptor: Emerging company, The builder: Mid-market business and The visionary: Large enterprise.

The 2016 Vision to Reality Award winners are:

Builder
Hydrogenics Corporation

Visionary
Celestica Inc.

Applications were open to companies of all sizes and industries who demonstrated an innovative idea with a proven industry impact. The independent panel of judges comprised of prominent members of the business community with the experience to recognize innovative companies. There were two rounds of judging; the first panel selected a shortlist of finalists, and the second identified winners in each category.

Able to demonstrate one of the following:

  • Significant revenue growth
  • Customer/user growth
  • High engagement metrics
  • Improved operational efficiencies and/or cost savings
