Practice cell phone safety with Lif3 Canada Smartchip
TORONTO, Nov. 28, 2016 /CNW/ - A growing body of evidence links electromagnetic radiation (EMR) to a multitude of health risks.1-6 In response to this emerging public issue, Lif3 Global has launched the Lif3 Smartchip in Canada. Lif3 Smartchip is the most advanced laboratory tested and proven cell phone radiation reduction technology available on the market today, reducing the radiation specific absorption rate (SAR) by up to 99 per cent.7
Today in Canada, there are 29.8 million cell phone subscribers.8 While there are many conclusive studies outlining health risks related to cell phone radiation, there continues to be ongoing global research to determine the long-term effects of EMR on health.9-10 The Lif3 Smartchip simultaneously absorbs and re-directs radiation away from the head and body and is the only one of its kind to have minimal impact on the signal strength of a cell phone. The Lif3 Smartchip adheres to the back of a cell phone and is available for the most popular smart phone models.
"I've been conducting SAR testing for many years, and the Lif3 Smartchip results are most impressive in reducing radio frequency radiation exposure," said Jay Moulton, Chief Engineer at RF Exposure Lab.
In June 2016, the Standing Committee in Health received a Parliamentary report entitled, 'RADIOFREQUENCY ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION AND THE HEALTH OF CANADIANS' that engaged industry leaders in Canada to develop a better understanding of the relationship between emissions and risks to health and wellness of Canadians.11 As a response, the Government of Canada has recognized the need for further research and investigation into possible links between EMR exposure and cancer.12
"Researchers and scientists believe it could take 20-30 years to fully understand the impact of our digital lifestyle," said President and CEO Lif3 Americas, Nicholas Kosciolek. "As our exposure to radio frequency radiation continues to increase, we can't afford to take a wait and see position with our health. At Lif3 Canada, we understand how integral cell phones are to our lives. Our goal is to educate Canadians about the potential health hazards associated with cell phone radiation and encourage Canadians to get smart about cell phone safety."
After five years of research and development by a world class radio frequency engineer, the Lif3 Smartchip is now available in Canada. Tests conducted in a number of accredited independent labs: RF Exposure Lab in San Marcos, California and EMC Technologies in Melbourne, Australia, have shown the product provides radiation reduction rates at the highest recorded levels to date. Lif3 Smartchip is the first of its kind to offer cell phone users a solution to enjoying their devices while minimizing some of the potential health risks associated with cell phone usage.
Lif3 Smartchip is now available for purchase at www.lif3smartchip.ca.
About Lif3 Canada
As one part of an overall safer use strategy, Lif3 Canada is committed to providing mobile technology users with science-based products and risk reduction interventions that significantly minimize EMR exposure. We are dedicated to educating the public, building awareness and facilitating the discussion with Federal regulatory bodies, as well as giving back to the community by supporting charities focused on children's health. Lif3 Canada is currently investigating near field testing and DNA research. Lif3 Canada is also engaging public policy experts and EMR stakeholders and opening lines of communication.
