Press Alert - Media Advisory - New Document available - NAFTA must be renegotiated

    OTTAWA, March 3 /CNW Telbec/ -

WHO: Four civil society networks from the United States, Mexico,
           Canada, and Quebec

WHAT: New document exposes NAFTA flaws and outlines trade options for
           North America.

WHERE: This 4 network Statement can be viewed and downloaded from
           www.art-us.org

WHEN: Document will be available as of Monday, March 4, 2008 at 2:00 pm

WHY: The four networks have written a 10 point Statement NAFTA MUST BE
RENEGOTIATED in the context of recent promises made by Democratic
candidates for the Presidency of the United States - Barack Obama
and Hillary Clinton. Politicians throughout North America (Canada,
Mexico and the United States) have come to recognize what the
majority of citizens already know - NAFTA's promises have not been
fulfilled. This document argues that new policies are urgently
           needed.
