Power is Partially Restored at Concordia University



    MONTREAL, July 9 /CNW Telbec/ - Power has now been restored to two out of
three Concordia buildings affected earlier today by a cut power line.

    
    - Power has been restored in two affected buildings: the Hall Building
      (1455 De Maisonneuve Blvd. West) and the BE Building (1257 Guy St.).
      Students, faculty and staff will be able to return to those two
      buildings as of 4:30 p.m. today. With power now restored, all evening
      classes in these buildings WILL GO AHEAD AS SCHEDULED.

    - All evening classes in the GM building have been CANCELLED for this
      evening.
    

    It is expected that power will be restored in the GM building sometime
tonight, but as a precaution, all students, faculty and staff who are supposed
to be in the GM building tomorrow (Thursday) morning are asked to visit the
Concordia website (www.concordia.ca or http://news.concordia.ca) to confirm
that power has been restored.
