Unique Canadian idea has students "speed-dating" their way to careers in
advertising in Canada and 14 other countries

trying to begin careers in creative advertising in Canada and around the world
now have a new and exciting way of getting career advice, being discovered and
possibly landing their first job.
DDB Canada, in collaboration with DDB Worldwide, is partnering with
ihaveanidea, advertising's intellectual archive, to bring Portfolio Night to
students, juniors and creative hopefuls in Toronto and Vancouver, and for the
first time to other cities around the world. Fourteen DDB offices in nine
countries will be hosting simultaneous Portfolio Night events on Thursday,
May 3, 2007 as part of the largest portfolio review and recruitment event in
the history of advertising.
Portfolio Night is an annual industry event organized by ihaveanidea, a
unique Canadian organization serving the international advertising industry's
creative community. This year with the help of DDB the event is being taken
around the globe and will be held in 23 cities.
The agreement between DDB Canada, DDB Worldwide and ihaveanidea makes
DDB's agency network a gold sponsor of Portfolio Night and the event's first

opportunity to meet with award-winning creative directors from DDB and top
