new direct flights between St. John's and Ottawa provide the most convenient
schedule available on the route.

uninterrupted from the current summer schedule. Flights are now available for

the high level of customer service on which Porter's reputation has been
built. In addition to increasing passenger choice at our airport, these new
daily flights to Halifax and on to Ottawa and Toronto will enhance the
accessibility of our city and our province."
At the heart of Porter's philosophy is a desire to reintroduce
convenience, speed and seamless service to short-haul air travel. Located
minutes from the downtown core and flying from its own dedicated terminal at
Toronto City Centre Airport (TCCA), Porter offers a dignified,
service-oriented passenger experience. Complimentary on-board service includes
wine and beer served in glassware, as well as premium snacks on all flights.

delighted with this announcement."
"Porter has proven to be a very popular choice for Ottawa travellers
since their inaugural flight in 2006," said Paul Benoit, Ottawa International
Airport Authority president and CEO. "We are pleased to add St. John's to the
list of destinations that Porter serves and trust that the community will
respond with its support."
Porter operates a fleet of 70-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft. The aircraft
sets new standards for comfort and fuel efficiency, using 30 to 40 per cent
less fuel than comparable regional and narrow-body jets. The Q400 features
high cruising speed, revolutionary cabin noise-reduction technology and
environmentally-friendly engines.
