TORONTO, Feb. 23 /CNW/ - The Duke of York pub is having a pie-eating
In celebration of the Duke Pubs Pie and Ale Feast, the Duke of York is
staging a pie-eating contest to see who can eat a pot pie the fastest. The
contest is open to anyone over the age of 19 who wants to be crowned as the
first-ever Duke Pubs Pie-Eating Champion.
So come out and join the fun at the Duke of York by signing up as a
contestant. If throwing back a pie as quickly as possible isn't your cup of
tea, then swing by for a pint and come cheer on the participants. The
competition begins at 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 26th, 2009. The Duke of
York is located at 39 Prince Arthur Avenue, near St. George station.
