prior to the 1992 Summer Olympics where an accident with another scull left
her leg seriously damaged. After five operations in three weeks, she was back
at training and her efforts paid off with a bronze medal - capturing the
imagination and admiration of Canadians and people the world over.
Ms. Laumann went on to win more awards and took home the silver medal in
the single sculls race at the 1996 Summer Olympics before retiring in 1999.
Today, Ms. Laumann devotes her time to her family and charity work,
namely the Silken's ActiveKids Movement, a national charity dedicated to
increasing physical activity in children.
This show is open to a professional audience of buyers, retailers, media
and service providers. It is not open to the general public.
