Petroleum production and operations expert joins Tearlach



    VANCOUVER, June 26 /CNW/ - Tearlach Resources Ltd., (www.tsx.com, TSX.V:
Symbol: TEA). Kurt Sickles leads implementation of advance drilling
technologies. Tearlach Resources is pleased to announce that Kurt E. Sickles
M.Sc., has joined Tearlach and will direct drilling, perforation, and
fracturing activities using proprietary technologies for both oil and gas
recovery. This cutting edge technology will be applied to Tearlach oil and gas
field recovery, to joint venture field developments and to third party as a
service.
    Kurt E. Sickles has served as the Vice President of Operations at
Stockdale Oil & Gas Inc. since June 1995, where he increased production
upwards of 400%. In addition, he was the Chief Engineer with the Navel
Petroleum Reserves at Elk Hills where production reached 165,000 BOPD. His
resume highlights a depth of knowledge ranging from: the design and
implementation of a steam displacement program, to aiding in the start up of
three surviving independent oil companies as well as the coordination and
organization of drilling programs including management and supervision of both
personnel and budget. Mr. Sickle brings a global perspective to Tearlach
having worked in Albania, Australia, Columbia and the Los Angles Basin.
    Mr. Sickles has extensive education and training including a masters of
petroleum engineering from the University of Southern California, as well as
many oil and gas related seminars to further complement his experience. He is
excited to join Tearlach and work to develop and combine effective cutting
edge oil and gas recovery technologies.
