VANCOUVER, April 12 /CNW/ - Global Financial Group Inc. (GFG) reports
that Angela Huxham is stepping down as President of egX Canada and will take
an active role with egX Canada's Regulatory Oversight Committee. Mary Wong,
currently Vice President of Market Operations of egX Canada (since April
2006), is assuming the role of acting President of egX Canada.
Ms. Wong has over 20 years of trading operations experience. From 2004,
Ms. Wong held the position of Acting Manager/Assistant Manager, Surveillance
and Compliance for Market Regulation Services Inc. "RS". From 2000 to 2004,
Ms. Wong held the position of Compliance Officer with RS, reporting to the
Manager of Trade Desk Compliance. As Senior Compliance Officer, she developed,
implemented and conducted the trade desk review program of member firms in
Western Canada to ensure compliance with market rules and policies. Earlier in
her career as a Trading Co-ordinator at the VSE, Ms. Wong played a key role in
the implementation of the first Canadian electronic trading system, the
Vancouver Computerized Trading system ("VCT").
