Peel board reaches tentative agreement with CUPE Local 2544



    TORONTO, Oct. 28 /CNW/ - The Peel District School Board and the CUPE
Local 2544, representing custodial and maintenance staff, have reached a
tentative agreement. Details of the tentative agreement are confidential
pending ratification by CUPE.

    The Peel board serves more than 153,000 students in kindergarten to
grade 12. Operating 235 schools in the municipalities of Brampton, Caledon and
Mississauga, the Peel board is the largest employer in Peel. For more
