announced that its sale to Veritas Capital has officially closed, finalizing
its separation from Pearson plc. In conjunction with the close, the company
changed its name to Vangent, Inc. and expanded its service offerings to better
serve its customers with new services and products.
Under the terms of the agreement, Pearson plc was paid $600 million and,
as part of the agreement, will retain a minority interest of approximately 10%
