student-athletes from across Canada will be given the chance to reach their

role in assisting Canada's next generation of golfers pursue their dreams,"
said Ted Fletcher, Foundation trustee and son of the late Pat Fletcher.
Application for the Pat Fletcher Scholarship Foundation is open to any
Canadian student who is pursuing a post secondary education and is in need of
financial assistance. Candidates should show an interest and an ability to
golf. Dedication to their studies and community involvement will be taken into
consideration. Bursaries of up to $3,000 per year are awarded to be put

"Without the support of the Pat Fletcher Scholarship Foundation, I would
not have been able to play university golf and receive a top notch education,"
said Jake Moffatt, 2006-2009 award recipient. "I owe a debt of gratitude to
the Foundation. It has given me the tools I need to build a better future."
Since 1988, the Foundation has awarded over $275,000 in scholarships and
is pleased to be making a difference in the lives of so many deserving
Canadian students. "By supporting these students, we are making the best
