More than 70 people will plunge into the icy waters of Lac des Cygnes!
MONTREAL, Feb. 26 /CNW Telbec/ - The first-ever All-Nighter at Parc
Jean-Drapeau will be held this Saturday from 9pm to 3am! A unique chance to
enjoy winter at this exceptional site that will come alive with light and
music to the great delight of visitors... just steps from downtown Montreal!
The subway to Parc Jean-Drapeau stops right in the heart of the All-Nighter's
activities where an incredible night awaits you for only $10 (activities and
equipment included). A snow park, tube slides, a skater's path along the
St.Lawrence, snowshoeing, and boot hockey, everything to enjoy the outdoors at
Earlier, in the afternoon, drop by île Sainte-Hélène's Lac des Cygnes
from 1 to 4pm, where more than 70 courageous participants will brave the cold
by jumping into the lake's icy waters in order to raise funds for the Special
Olympics Québec. This activity organized by the members of the Law Enforcement
Torch Run, aims at improving the quality of life of people living with an
intellectual disability, through the promotion and practice of physical
activity. This spectacular event is guaranteed to impress everyone!
What's more, the Cabane à sucre avant tout le monde will continue at
restaurant Hélène de Champlain, where visitors can sample a delicious
traditional meal prepared by the Sucrerie de la montagne for only $15+tx (to

- Snowboard Park: Zone 514 will thrill snowboard enthusiasts, two steps
away from the subway! Helmet is mandatory (cost: $12 day pass, $8 after

- Skaters' Path: skate down this magical path that runs along the
St. Lawrence and offers a stunning view of downtown Montreal.
- Boot Hockey: have fun playing this classic winter sport... And it's a
