VANCOUVER, Sept. 24 /CNW/ - Pacific Cascade Minerals Inc. (TSX-V; PCV)
has completed the planned 2008 field work on its 100% owned Crack Moly
property northeast of Harrison Lake in southwestern British Columbia. A 3D-IP
geophysics program consisting of 6.8 line km extending to the west of the
previous IP survey confirmed a large chargeability high anomaly located at
depth on the western boundary of the previous IP grid and provided diamond
drill targets for the extension to this anomaly (PCV news release Sept. 08,
A diamond drill rig was mobilized to test this new anomaly, which is
located approximately 500 meters west of the 2007 drill program. Three (3)
holes were completed this year for a total of 1,325 meters. Drill core from
these holes has been logged and split and sent for assay to Acme Analytical
Laboratories Ltd. in Vancouver
About the Crack Moly Project
The Crack Moly Property comprises eight (8) contiguous claims totalling
of 3,338.3 hectares located in the New Westminster Mining Division of British
Columbia. In 2005 surface geochemical sampling and a 3D Induced Polarization
Geophysical Survey were completed on the property. The Crack Moly property
displays high grade molybdenum showings on surface within hydrothermal
breccias traced over 800 meters. In 2007 the Company conducted a nine (9) hole
diamond drill program which resulted in significant intercepts. In addition
the 2007 interpretation of the 3D IP survey indicated that a large
resistivity/chargeability anomaly remained open to the west which has also
been identified by the 2008 3D IP survey.
