Orkin Canada Joins Food & Consumer Products of Canada

Pest Control Company Brings Expertise to Association's Members

ATLANTA, June 6 /CNW/ - Pest control company Orkin Canada announced today
that it joined the food and beverage industry association, Food & Consumer
Products of Canada (FCPC), as an Affiliate member. Orkin Canada brings its
more than 100 years of experience in the pest management industry to the
association's membership, which includes leading food, beverage and consumer
products manufacturers.

"Food safety and product integrity have never been more important to the
food and consumer products industries," said Orkin Canada President Gary
Muldoon. "We're excited to offer our experience protecting businesses from
pests to FCPC's members."

FCPC's members will have the opportunity to take advantage of Orkin
Canada's expertise through a white paper on Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
partnerships in food manufacturing facilities developed specifically for this
market and industry sector. An environmentally responsible approach to pest
management, IPM emphasizes non-chemical measures to help prevent pests and
protect the safety of people, products and the environment. Orkin Canada's
white paper will be available to FCPC members in 2007.

Gold Medal Protection, Orkin Canada's service offering for the food
manufacturing industry, provides clients tailored IPM programs with an
emphasis on quality assurance and documentation. Each facility also receives a
comprehensive reporting system that meets or exceeds the requirements of
third-party auditors. In fact, respondents to a survey of Orkin Canada's Gold
Medal Protection clients averaged better than 95 percent on the pest control
sections of their most recent third-party audits. Orkin Canada holds the
largest market share of the Canadian food industry with its Gold Medal
Protection service offering.
