PowerSens II Offers Industry-Leading Reliability And Total System

increased its competitiveness in the worldwide market for power transformer
temperature sensors by launching the new PowerSens II signal conditioner.

PowerSens II is a second generation signal conditioner, which receives
temperature signals from the sensing units located in transformer windings.
The conditioner transforms the signals into temperature readouts or transmits
data to a utility control center.

qualify their products prior to delivery and by utilities to manage the
performance of installed equipment. Sensors also contribute to ongoing
maintenance and performance measurement by providing information that enables
transformer load optimization, accurate evaluation of insulation aging,
cooling equipment management and validation of theoretical formulas.
While developing PowerSens II, Opsens improved instrument reliability and
increased system accuracy to +/- 0.8degrees Celsius. Combining PowerSens II
with either the OTG-T or OTG-T+ fiber optic sensors creates a temperature
