Opsens announces new orders from the EED Market on three continents

QUEBEC CITY, Oct. 24 /CNW Telbec/ - Opsens Inc. (TSX VENTURE
EXCHANGE: OPS) ("Opsens") announced new orders from Europe, Asia, and North
America for the supply of RadSens signal conditioners and OTG-R- fiber optic
temperature sensors. These new orders confirm the positive impact of the
approval obtained from United Kingdom Defence Ordnance Safety Group (DOSG) and
the recent order from BAE Systems, a world leader in the aerospace and defence
industry.
Soon after DOSG's approval announced on October 16, 2007, Opsens received
over $270,000 in orders. These orders once again point to the unique features
of Opsens products and the leadership role that the company plays on this
market. The patent-pending RadSens signal conditioners and OTG-R fiber optic
temperature sensors have been specifically designed for Radio and Radar
Radiation Hazards (RADHAZ) applications, by ensuring unparalleled precision
and stability of measurement, as well as providing a very high measurement
rate of 1000 Hz (1000 samples/second).
Yves Plamondon, Vice President Sales and Marketing for the military
market at Opsens, stated, "These orders attest to the quality of our team's
business strategy, whose primary focus is on the needs of our clients. These
orders give us good reason to expect a strong growth in revenue over the first
quarter of 2008."
