Ontario curling champion Glenn Howard raises awareness for breast cancer on and off the ice

    - Champion Skip of the 2007 Brier sweeps away the competition with strong
    brooms and big hearts -

TORONTO, March 27 /CNW/ - Join Ontario champion Skip Glenn Howard and The
Beer Store President Ted Clarke on Wednesday, March 28, as Glenn prepares to
represent Canada at the upcoming 2007 World Men's Curling Championship. For
more than 30 years curling has been his passion - although today the goal is
not only to win, but to make a difference on and off the ice. Team Glenn
Howard raises awareness and funds for breast cancer by sporting pink jerseys
and playing "hard" with pink brooms.
Glenn Howard is a full-time employee of The Beer Store and to show
support, The Beer Store will proudly donate $5,000 to Team Glenn Howard's
charity of choice, the Breast Cancer Society of Canada. Corporate Ontarians
and fans of the game are encouraged to support this worthwhile cause and visit
www.bcsc.ca.

gold at the 2007 World Men's Curling Championship beginning March 31 in
