Ontario Continues to Reject John NegaTory's "Down on Ontario" Campaign

TORONTO, Sept. 29 /CNW/ - As the Ontario election unfolds it is clear
that the more people see of John NegaTory, the more they question his
weakness.

Columnist Michael Den Tandt finds John Tory reminds him of someone:

"He's as certain of his righteousness and as stubborn in the face of the
obvious as... Mike Harris? Hmm."

    September 28, 2007, Sarnia Observer

The Ontario Crown Attorney's Association contests Tory's claims on crime:

"To maintain that Crown attorneys participate in a catch-and-release
justice system, or that there is one, is not accurate or fair."

    September 28, 2007, National Post

Lawyer Edward Greenspan mocks Tory's negative vision of the province:

"But to hear John Tory say it, you would think anyone walking through
downtown Toronto in broad daylight was either a crack addict or someone with a
death wish."

    September 29, 2007, Sudbury Star

Audette Shephard, mother of a young murder victim, rejects Tory's crime
strategy:

    "It's very deceitful. It's totally inappropriate..." September 22, 2007,
    Toronto Star

From his scheme to rip $500 million out of publicly funded schools to pay
for private religious schools to his cynical fear mongering on crime while
refusing to demand a federal handgun ban, Ontarians are rejecting John Tory's
weakness.
