Ontario Community Council on Impaired Driving (OCCID) invites friends and press to celebrate 2007 and plan for 2008



    TORONTO, Dec. 2 /CNW/ - Ontario Community Council on Impaired Driving
(OCCID) will continue its plan to open its doors for friends, supporters,
members and press but urges everyone who is able to attend in the midst of the
snow storm to drive safely.
    OCCID also welcomed any invited guests who could not attend today's event
to join them at their General Meeting on Monday December 3rd at 9:30 a.m.
until 2:00 p.m. at the Ministry of Transportation offices, 1201 Wilson, East
Boardrooms 1 and 2.
    As well as hosting the Open House, OCCID is officially launching "Shut
Out Impaired Driving" as their winter theme for arrive alive DRIVE SOBER.
Plans to promote the message include postering at The Beer Store and many
arenas; and displays with the Toronto Maple Leafs, The Toronto Marlies, many
RIDE spot-checks and local events across Ontario; and handouts at many OHL
games between now and New Year's.
