    ...Dalton makes a promise

    TORONTO, Sept. 4 /CNW/ - On September 4, 2003, Dalton McGuinty made a
promise to the people of Ontario:

"Taxes paid by individuals will be the same as they are today if the
Ontario Liberals win the election. We will keep Personal Income Tax rates
and the 'Fair Share Health Levy,' created by Ernie Eves, exactly where
    they are today."

He made a further promise to Ontario's seniors:

"Taxes for seniors will not rise; they will stay exactly where they
    are."

    Ontario knows what happened.
On May 18, 2004, Dalton McGuinty raised taxes on Ontarians by as much as
$900 per person per year.
And seniors? Dalton McGuinty raised taxes for them, too.
And when the PC Party introduced a motion in the Ontario Legislature to
repeal that tax for Ontario's seniors, Dalton McGuinty used his majority to
kill the motion.
    Leadership Matters.
