TORONTO, Oct. 16 /CNW/ - Ogilvy Renault LLP is pleased to announce the
recent launch of its Cleantech law practice. The practice will host a
Cleantech in Canada seminar tomorrow morning, presented jointly with Deloitte.
At the event an expert panel of industry leaders will share their insights on
clean technology and investment opportunities in Canada.
The results of a survey on the Cleantech investment climate in Canada,
commissioned by Ogilvy Renault and Deloitte, will also be announced at the
seminar. The research found that investors are active in the sector and see
strong growth potential in clean technology companies.
"We're very proud to lead the way in Cleantech law in Canada" says Rick
Sutin, Ogilvy Renault Senior Partner and Co-Chair of Cleantech Practice.
"Right now, Cleantech companies are showing that green technology can be good
for business. There's tremendous potential in the sector and investors are
excited - and we share their optimism."
Ogilvy Renault's Cleantech team works closely with clients as they
develop their businesses. Clients include private sector entrepreneurs and
developers, venture capital and private equity investors, and technology
developers. Cleantech areas in which we advise clients include air quality,
energy, water purification, environmental IT and many others. More information
