2011 Baltimore Grand Prix, to map out its carbon management strategy with a goal of becoming a
carbon neutral sporting event with zero net waste by 2015.
The Baltimore Grand Prix will be a three day racing event in downtown
Baltimore, September 2 -4, 2011. Expected to attract thousands of
spectators for the weekend event which will feature world-class
motorsports competition with several racing series along with a wide
variety of entertainment and activity, event organizers knew early on
that they wanted to support the values behind becoming a Green Prix, and better manage their carbon emissions.

The Baltimore Grand Prix, part of the 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series and the 2011 American Le Mans
Series schedules, encompasses a 3.2-km (two-mile) temporary street
circuit that travels through the heart of Baltimore's downtown
district, past the Inner Harbor and around Camden Yards. Combining
