- Denis Charest, President
BROSSARD, QC, Oct. 22 /CNW Telbec/ - Earlier today, President Denis
Charest and General Manager René Duchesne officially inaugurated Hôtel
Brossard in the presence of a group of dignitaries and members of the South
Shore business community. A recent injection of $12 million will help the new
hotel complex create 35 new direct jobs.
"Hôtel Brossard is strategically located on a thoroughfare providing easy
access to Montreal and the hip Quartier Dix30 shopping centre," Mr. Charest
stated. "The new hotel complex has 138 elegant rooms and suites decorated in
traditional European style. We offer the same services as in Montreal but
without the traffic, and our business clients can take advantage of our
shuttle service between the hotel and the Saint-Hubert-Longueuil airport," he
As of fall 2009, the hotel complex will include the Château Brossard
convention centre to accommodate major corporate events. The two-storey
multifunctional complex, boasting several rooms and a 1,200-person capacity,
will mainly serve clients from the Longueuil agglomeration. According to
General Manager René Duchesne, the complex has already become a major hub,
adding that, "Our hotel and convention centre will easily attract clients from
the greater Montreal and Quebec City areas, as well as the U.S. market."
The hotel's opening coupled with the emergence of Quartier Dix30 will
help raise Brossard's economic profile and add to the vitality of its business
sector. Mr. Charest is convinced that Hôtel Brossard and the Château Brossard
convention centre will soon be recognized as a destination of choice for
clients seeking unrivaled service and a memorable stay.
