Depending on their location, consumers who purchase their natural gas
directly from Union (system gas customers), and who use 2,600 cubic meters
(m(3)) a year, will see their bills will decrease between $152 and $233
annually as a result of the QRAM.
Consumers who purchase their natural gas from a natural gas marketer
(direct purchase customers) will see a decrease of between $0 and $13 to their
annual bill.
Second, the Board's decision regarding Union's earnings sharing amounts
to a $34 million credit to customers. As a result of this decision, all
consumers (both system gas customers and direct purchase customers) will see
their bills decrease by between $11 and $18 for the period July 1, 2009 to
December 31, 2009.
