TORONTO, Nov. 26 /CNW/ - Today the Ontario Energy Board (the Board)
issued a Decision and Order concerning a motion by Hydro One Networks Inc.
(Hydro One) to review two elements of the Board's September 7, 2007 Decision
and Order regarding the connection procedures of Hydro One and Great Lakes
Power Limited (the Connection Procedures Decision).
At issue was the section of the Connection Procedures Decision that
addresses the effect of section 71 of the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998 on
the ability of transmitters to conduct certain construction activities, and
the section of the Connection Procedures Decision that deals with cost
responsibility and transmission plans under the Board's Transmission System
In the Decision and Order issued today, the Board found there is no
reviewable error in those sections of the Connection Procedures Decision.
Accordingly, the Board will not further review the Connection Procedures
Decision, and Hydro One has been ordered to proceed with filing revisions to
its connection procedures and related documentation, in accordance with the
findings in the Connection Procedures Decision.
