Oceanex announces its purchase of new 53' containers



    MONTREAL, Feb. 7 /CNW Telbec/ - Captain Sid Hynes, Executive Chairman of
Oceanex Inc., is pleased to announce the purchase of 150 - 53 feet long
containers for delivery in the first quarter of 2008. These new high cube
containers will provide the equivalent cargo handling capability to that
provided by 150 tractor trailers and are expected to be in service by March
2008. "While these units will be used primarily to serve our Newfoundland
customers, this investment further demonstrates our commitment to meet client
requirements throughout Eastern Canada".
    These new units will provide Oceanex with an ability to meet its future
growth targets while maintaining industry leading cycle times between its
terminals and inland operations.
