NSSBA welcomes More to Education post



    DARTMOUTH, NS, June 22 /CNW/ - The Nova Scotia School Boards Association
(NSSBA) is very pleased with Premier Darrell Dexter's cabinet announcement on
Friday, which appointed Marilyn More, MLA, Dartmouth South - Portland Valley
to the position of Minister of Education, Labour and Workforce Development.
    "Marilyn More is a strong supporter of public education and has a long
association with school boards," said association President Ronald Marks.
    More, who was the first female to be appointed to a school board in Nova
Scotia, is a honourary member of the NSSBA. Said Marks "We look forward to
working with the Honourable Marilyn More to provide the best education
opportunities for all students in Nova Scotia."

    The NSSBA is the provincial voice for school boards.
