selected by General Motors to supply aluminum sheet for the hood of the
all-new 2007 GMC Acadia, the brand's first crossover SUV.
The aluminum sheet for the Acadia will be supplied from Novelis rolling
mills in Oswego, N.Y., and Kingston, Ont. Novelis is the world's leading
supplier of high performance aluminum automotive sheet and has been a supplier
to General Motors since the early 1990s. Novelis is the only company capable
of producing aluminum auto sheet in both North America and Europe.
