CLEVELAND, Feb. 11 /CNW/ -- Novelis today announced price increases on
aluminum sheet products sold in North America in response to the rising cost
of alloying ingredients.

The fabrication charge for rolled products will increase from between 1
cent per pound to 5 cents per pound, depending on the alloy, as shown in the

3003, 3004, 5005 and 5050 $.01
5052, 5454 and 5754 $.03
5083 and 5182 $.05
The price increases are effective for all new orders booked on or after
February 12, 2008, and all shipments on or after April 1, 2008. The increases
are in effect immediately for depot orders. All orders currently under a fixed
contract are excluded from this increase.
