NOTICE TO THE MEDIA - Global Television's Peter Kent, to run for Prime Minister Stephen Harper's Conservative Party of Canada in the Toronto area riding of Thornhill



    TORONTO, March 16 /CNW/ - Peter Kent, the Canadian Broadcasting Hall of
Fame journalist and recipient of the prestigious 2006 President's Award from
the Radio-Television News Directors Association of Canada (RTNDA), will be
formally nominated in a campaign rally joined by Member of Parliament and
Secretary of State (Multiculturalism and Canadian Identity), The Honourable
Jason Kenney, along with M.P. Steven Fletcher, Parliamentary Secretary to the
Minister of Health, Newstalk 1010 CFRB's Ted Woloshyn, and invited Members of
Parliament and special guests.
    Peter Kent, the Honourable Jason Kenney, Parliamentary Secretary Steven
Fletcher and other Member of Parliament guests will available to answer
