Note to editors - Ministerial Conference on the Canadian Francophonie in Halifax



    HALIFAX, Sept. 11 /CNW/ - Josée Verner, Minister of Canadian Heritage,
Status of Women and Official Languages, and Chris d'Entremont, Nova Scotia
Minister of Health and Minister of Acadian Affairs, will hold a news briefing
after the 12th Ministerial Conference on the Canadian Francophonie in Halifax,
Thursday, Sept. 13.
    Ms. Verner and Mr. d'Entremont will be joined by ministers from the other
provinces and territories to answer questions from the media at about
3:30 p.m. at the Regency Room of the Lord Nelson Hotel in Halifax.

    Accredited media must register by Wednesday, Sept. 12. The form must be
received by e-mail or fax at 902-428-0124 before 4 p.m.
    Registered and approved media can get their passes at the Lord Nelson
Hotel on Sept. 13 in the Imperial Room.
