Unique Data Management System for Precious Metals Exploration Available
SPOKANE, WASH., November 14 /CNW/ - Mining professionals attending the
Northwest Mining Association's annual meeting here Dec. 3-7 will have an
opportunity to see how 21st Century computer technology has finally arrived to
the world of hard rock minerals exploration.
Gold Reef International, Inc., whose stock is publicly traded and
Canadian-listed (CNQ:GRIN), will offer demonstrations of its Metal Miners
Plus(C) data management system, which is now available through proprietary use
agreements to companies that realize the value of systematically managing
large volumes of geological, geochemical, and geophysical data. Metal Miners
Plus(C) is interactive with more than 1,000 overlays and offers more than 2
million ways of analyzing a single data point.
"I believe that Metal Miners Plus(C) will revolutionize the way companies
explore for gold and other precious metals," said Gold Reef, Inc., President
and CEO C.R. "Kip" Williams. "We are saying goodbye to the days when the
primary tools that metals exploration professionals had for evaluation of
prospects or due diligence were stacks of paper and wall maps. This system is
Gold Reef representatives will be available at Booth #1008 at the Spokane
Convention Center to demonstrate Metal Miners Plus(C).
Metal Miners Plus(C):
-- Provides a comprehensive base for published data such as topography,
geology, geophysics and land status.
-- Enables the compilation of proprietary data, such as mining claims,
samples, detailed geology, geophysical surveys and drilling data into one
easily accessible data system.
-- Tracks multiple element analyses, reducing chances of missing any
potential for any type of metal occurrences.
-- Generates an instant presentation capability for all prospect and
mine-development aspects, including on-site pictures of samples and expedites
executive and management decisions.
-- Saves money by reducing costly conventional methods of data
collection, map drafting, presentation, interpretation and decision-making.
-- Enables geologists in the field and office personnel to communicate
in real time via a secure intranet server.
Metal Miners Plus(C) received a positive reception when Gold Reef
unveiled the proprietary data management system Sept. 6 at the IncreMental
Advantage Metals & Mining Conference in New York.
Gold Reef has begun marketing Metal Miners Plus(C) to junior
gold/precious metals mining companies from its new Reno, Nev., office. Heading
up that office is Paul Strobel, a 30-year geology veteran, who recently joined
Gold Reef as vice president for business development. The Reno office is
located at 9190 Double Diamond Parkway, Reno, Nev., 89521, telephone:
