Northern Ontario election issues in focus on The Agenda with Steve Paikin Monday, September 24 at 8 pm on TVO

TORONTO, Sept. 21 /CNW/ - On Monday, September 24, 2007 at 8 pm, as part
of its extensive provincial election coverage, The Agenda with Steve Paikin
focuses on northern Ontario and the issues citizens of the region are most
concerned about leading up to the vote on October 10. This will be the fourth
of six programs that spotlight issues in different regions of Ontario. Eastern
and central Ontario, as well as Toronto, have already been featured and are
available as streamed video or podcasts at www.tvo.org/theagenda. Later
programs will include southwestern Ontario on Tuesday, October 2 and the
greater Toronto area (or 905) on Thursday, October 4.
Viewers can also go to tvo.org/agenda to submit questions regarding
election issues from their region and contribute to dedicated blogs. Steve
Paikin, as always, welcomes comments; Queen's Park bureau chief Susanna Kelley
moderates "Ontario Politics Uncovered," a blog focusing on issues from various
regions; producer Mike Miner overlooks "The Fifth Column," which offers
analysis on the day's headlines and inside reports on the latest web tricks
the parties have employed to win the hearts, minds and hard drives of the
electorate.
The Agenda with Steve Paikin is TVO's flagship current affairs show
airing weekdays at 8 pm, repeating at 11 pm and 5 am the following morning.
