"No Details:" We Agree

TORONTO, May 28, 2011 /CNW/ - Here's what journalists are saying about Hudak's scheme:

Rob Ferguson, Toronto Star: "How will he do it? No details yet."

Karen Howlett, Globe and Mail: "No word on how he will pay for this."

Toronto Star: "...did not detail what government programs would be trimmed."

Mike Crawley, CBC: "(Tim Hudak's) pledges of income tax cuts + HST exemptions + $6.1B more healthcare + $2B more education = how to eliminate deficit?"

Christian Noel, Radio Canada: "$8M more in Health&Edu after 4y, less taxes, + balanced book before (Ontario Liberal Party) does. 2% cuts per year won't cover that."

Toronto Sun: "Hudak's speech doesn't say when he would balance the budget or where he would cut."

Adam Radwanski, Globe and Mail: "Right now, he's kind of pitching the CSR without the hard parts."

Christian Noel, Radio Canada: "The more things change, the more they stay the same."

Adam Radwanski, Globe and Mail: "There are a couple of oddities in Hudak's convention speech. One of them is this bit where he speaks in the third person."

Christina Blizzard, Toronto Sun: "(PCs are) trying to make him look animated."
