News conference: results of teen sex survey



    TORONTO, May 29 /CNW/ - The Toronto Teen Survey Report on teen sexual
health will be released by Planned Parenthood Toronto on Tuesday, June 2, 2009
at 9:30 am, Metro Central YMCA, 20 Grosvenor Street (north of College Subway
Station). Copies of the full report available to media at 9 am.
    One of the largest surveys in Canada of young people's sexual health
needs, it concludes teens are engaging in risky sexual behaviours without
adequate information and services.

    Speakers include:

    Dr. David McKeown, Medical Officer of Health, Toronto Public Health - on
challenges of sexual health in a diverse population, and initiatives.
    York University Professor Sarah Flicker - on the survey research and
results.

    Teens from the Youth Advisory Committee will be available to speak about
their role in helping to design the survey and administer it to their peers.
